We're hiring an Order Picker in Denver, Colorado! If you're detail-oriented and enjoy being active, this role is perfect for you. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. This is a critical position within our logistics chain, ensuring timely and correct shipments. The job requires navigating the warehouse, identifying products, and preparing them for dispatch. You must be comfortable with physical tasks, including walking, standing, and lifting. Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Join our dedicated team and play a key role in our distribution process.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick products based on order lists or scanner information.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order details.
- Package items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain tidiness and organization in assigned picking areas.
- Communicate any inventory inaccuracies or product damages to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with replenishing stock in picking locations when necessary.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks when needed.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Achieve performance metrics for picking speed and accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience is beneficial.
- Ability to remain standing and walk for prolonged periods.
- Comfortable with tasks involving bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a warehouse environment. The role demands continuous physical activity, including standing, walking, and manual dexterity for picking. Safety is paramount, and the use of provided PPE is required at all times.
