We are hiring a certified Forklift Operator for our busy warehouse in San Antonio, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This role is crucial to our **Logistics** operations, requiring a keen focus on **Safety**, precision, and productivity. You will operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment, ensuring the secure and timely transport of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and order picking as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all **Safety** guidelines.
- Follow all **Logistics** procedures for material handling and storage.
- Wear required **PPE** at all times while operating equipment and working in the warehouse.
- Comply with all **Safety** regulations and company policies.
- Participate in team efforts and assist other warehouse personnel as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of **Safety** regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse **Logistics**.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **Lifting** and moving materials when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated commitment to wearing **PPE** and following **Safety** protocols.
