Join our fast-paced logistics center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as a Picker/Packer. This crucial role involves accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and preparing them for shipment. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders promptly and in excellent condition. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment and understand the importance of speed and accuracy. Your contribution directly impacts customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our supply chain operations. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail. We prioritize safety and provide all necessary training and PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using scanning devices or pick lists.
- Verify product identity and quantity against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for transit.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and documentation.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting the overall logistics flow.
- Manage Lifting demands safely, seeking assistance when needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners or other warehouse technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capable of Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Team player mentality with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
