We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. This role is crucial for supporting our overall warehouse operations and logistics flow. You will be responsible for a range of duties, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, and packing and shipping them out. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is paramount. The ideal candidate is physically capable, possesses a strong work ethic, and is committed to contributing to a productive team.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock inventory accurately and efficiently.
- Pick items for orders based on specifications, ensuring accuracy.
- Pack products securely for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Stage outgoing shipments for delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Perform general labor as needed to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to follow instructions and company policies.
