Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
- Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse.
- Receive, identify, and store materials in designated locations.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Support the overall logistics team in meeting operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other industrial equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 60 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and regulations.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
