Are you ready to take your first step into the world of Human Resources? Due to promotion, we are looking for a Trainee HR Administrator to join our Central HR Service Delivery team and become part of a friendly, dedicated, and supportive team. This hybrid role offers the perfect balance of working in our modern Chelmsford city centre office and from the comfort of your home (following initial training).

Our Central HR Service Delivery function is recruiting a Trainee HR Administrator to join their friendly and dedicated team.
Working alongside our team of Human Resources experts; this role is challenging and fast paced, as such, we’re looking for an ambitious character! Internally we brand our HR Service Delivery team roles as ‘HR Specialist’ and offer a potential career path to ‘Senior HR Specialist’ and beyond. We are proud that our HR Service Delivery team is viewed as a future talent pool for career paths both within our HR Operations team and across our Divisional HR teams with opportunities for progression into roles such as HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, HR Data Analyst and roles within Reward, Benefits and Learning & Development.
How you'll make an impact
- Be the first point of contact for HR queries from our UK employees (approx. 12,000), managing email requests and phone calls with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle HR administration tasks across the employee lifecycle, including changes to terms and conditions, family leave, and leaver processing.
- Maintain accurate and secure employee data.
- Support benefit queries and administration.
- Collaborate with teams across Learning & Development, Payroll, and Recruitment.
- Contribute to exciting HR projects.
About You
- A keen eye for detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in using MS Office and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Experience in a process-driven environment and an understanding of HR policies is a plus.
- A proactive, ambitious, and service-oriented mindset.
