We're Hiring: Assistant General Manager
Location: In-Person | Full-Time | $23–$27/hr (total is hourly pay plus tips) | 50 hrs/week

Hiring for our New Location coming to Cahaba Heights mid February

What You'll Do:

As Assistant General Manager, you'll be the right hand to our GM — a steady leader, a coach, and a culture-setter. Your days will be filled with:

  • Guiding and supporting our amazing front- and back-of-house team
  • Championing farm-to-table hospitality and maintaining top-tier guest experiences
  • Overseeing daily operations with heart and hustle
  • Training new hires and leveling-up our current crew
  • Managing schedules, staff performance, and ongoing service standards
  • Handling inventory, vendor relationships, and bar oversight
  • Collaborating on seasonal cocktail menu rollouts and creative new offerings
  • Ensuring the building is clean, organized, and up to code at all times
  • Jumping in where needed — from the floor to a point station in the foh
  • Act as the prime example of a brick & tin model employee
  • Working with a clear head and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
  • Working with upper management to ensure budgets are met or surpassed
  • Assisting in seasonal menu rollouts by educating foh staff thoroughly and taking pictures of new product for marketing material
  • Upholding all company policies daily and correctly documenting any situaiton that may arise

Who You Are:

  • A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment
  • A calm, cool presence with a head for problem-solving and a heart for hospitality
  • Experienced (5+ years in hospitality, 3+ years in management, 1+ year bartending)
  • Passionate about great food, seasonal sourcing, and curated drinks
  • Knowledgeable about FOH/BOH operations, basic culinary practices, and health codes
  • A team-first player who leaves ego at the door
  • Comfortable with tech tools, POS systems, and light bookkeeping
  • Certified in food safety (ServeSafe or equivalent)
