Construction Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. Duties

• Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
• Perform manual labor such as snow removal, digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials and tools
• Support skilled tradespeople like carpenters, masons, and electricians in their tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision
• Follow safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and injuries on site
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies and materials as needed
• Support site cleanup at the end of each workday to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

• Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all necessary skills
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills
• Knowledge of basic safety procedures on construction sites is a plus
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions accurately
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly and stand for extended periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.12 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 48 per week
