Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety standards
• Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs promptly
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using retail math principles
• Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring all items meet quality standards
• Manage time effectively to handle busy periods while maintaining high service standards

Qualifications

• Prior barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and food preparation standards
• Experience in serving or food service roles within cafés or retail environments is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team in a lively setting
