The Terminal Manager oversees daily operations at Parsec's Battleboro terminal, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service for CSX and onsite customers. This role leads a team of supervisors and hourly employees, drives productivity, manages staffing, and maintains strong customer and rail-partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all terminal operations, including freight handling, yard flow, equipment oversight, and shift performance.
• Ensure all work complies with CSX requirements, FRA/OSHA regulations, and Parsec policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline staff; manage staffing, scheduling, and performance.
• Serve as the main point of contact for CSX and customer partners, providing updates and resolving service issues.
• Monitor KPIs, labor utilization, overtime, and equipment needs to support operational goals and cost control.
• Enforce safety standards, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Oversee administrative tasks such as timekeeping, reporting, onboarding, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in logistics, intermodal, transportation, or related operations.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communicator with proven supervisory and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with rail partners—CSX experience strongly preferred.
