About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Growth / Care team at Grow Therapy. In this role, you will lead efforts to understand user behavior, optimize onboarding processes, and improve retention strategies through advanced analytics and experimentation. Your expertise will be instrumental in building predictive models, attribution frameworks, and behavioral insights that influence marketing, therapist‑matching workflows, and future AI‑powered features. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations, you will identify opportunities for growth and impact, providing clear, actionable insights that shape product development and strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Grow Therapy's AI strategy by designing evaluation frameworks, conducting model-level experiments, and exploring innovative AI solutions to enhance the experience for both therapists and patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage data science to make a meaningful difference in mental health care accessibility and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role applying analytics, experimentation, and modeling in a product-focused environment
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, model development, and automation
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and other experimentation frameworks
• Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Demonstrated experience in driving product or growth decisions through deep user insights, funnel analytics, or marketplace dynamics
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams
• Passion for improving access to mental health care and building AI‑enhanced user experiences

Responsibilities

• Lead experimentation efforts and develop key metrics to understand user behavior and optimize onboarding and retention strategies
• Build and maintain predictive, attribution, and behavioral models to inform marketing strategies, therapist‑matching workflows, and AI features
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations teams to identify opportunities, quantify impact, and influence roadmap decisions with data-driven insights
• Develop dashboards, analytical frameworks, and self‑serve tools to enable teams to access data and answer product questions independently
• Shape and execute Grow Therapy's AI strategy by designing evaluation frameworks, running experiments, and identifying areas for AI integration to enhance user experience
• Communicate complex data insights clearly to stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making processes
