Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and support seamless operations within our resort or hotel environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival, check-in, and check-out efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, respond to guest inquiries, and provide accurate information about hotel services and amenities
  • Handle guest requests, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest billing information
  • Assist with night audit procedures when required, ensuring financial accuracy and reporting compliance
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experience
  • Uphold phone etiquette standards and ensure professional communication at all times

Requirements

  • Prior experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred. Opera PMS experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including night shifts
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest satisfaction
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
  • Knowledge of front desk procedures, hotel management software, and multi-line phone systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Hospitality background including resort or hotel experience is advantageous
