Laser Operator - 2nd Shift (2p-10:30p)

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented laser operator to join our second shift team. This role is critical to ensuring precision cut components that meet our customers' expectations and Danver's standards for craftsmanship and durability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Operate CNC laser cutting equipment to cut stainless steel parts according to engineering drawings and production schedules.

· Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.

· Perform routine machine setup, calibration, and basic maintenance.

· Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and surface finish, ensuring conformance to specifications.

· Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.

· Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues during operation.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and OSHA standards.

· Communicate production status and any issues with supervisors and team members.

· Support continuous improvement efforts in efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment required.

· Experience working with stainless steel strongly preferred.

· Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

· Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes.

· Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

· Forklift experience or willingness to be trained.

· Reliable attendance and ability to work second shift hours consistently.
