Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Bartender Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Bartender Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bar area, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service while leading and mentoring our bartending staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the bar staff to ensure exceptional service and teamwork. Provide training, guidance, and support to bartenders to ensure top-notch performance and adherence to standards.
- Ensure every guest receives the highest level of service. Oversee the bar area, ensuring smooth operations, a clean environment, and that every guest has an unforgettable experience.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels. Restock supplies as needed and work with management to order necessary items. Ensure bar stock is organized and well-maintained.
- Maintain high standards of drink quality and consistency, ensuring all beverages are crafted to perfection. Oversee the preparation of specialty drinks and cocktails.
- Manage cash handling and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy. Enforce responsible alcohol service, and check identification to ensure guests meet legal drinking age.
- Develop and implement ongoing training programs to enhance team skills, product knowledge, and service standards. Foster a team-oriented environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all staff are compliant with TABC and Food Handler certifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area and ensure all safety and hygiene standards are met.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years of bartending experience with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role, preferably in an upscale or high-volume setting.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and the ability to create innovative cocktail offerings.
- Proven experience managing teams and overseeing daily operations in a bar or restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead by example and motivate staff.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude toward both guests and staff.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- TABC and Food Handler Certification are required (or the ability to obtain them prior to starting).
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in a standing position for 8-10 hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs (50 lbs overhead).
- Ability to kneel, crouch, stoop, twist, reach, push, pull, and grasp throughout the day.
- Good hearing and communication skills in person or over the phone.
