Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role involves providing attentive service, managing guest needs, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Prior experience with POS system Toast is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. A background in fine dining or hospitality settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS system
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests
• Provide guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth food preparation and timely service
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and restaurant policies to inform guests effectively

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments
• Proficiency with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is beneficial
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous hospitality or guest services experience is valued
