*General Description of the position: The Executive Director is responsible for every phase of the daily operation of the Memory Care including the implementation of policies; cooperation with federal, state, and local agencies; fiscal management; staffing; scheduling; community upkeep and maintenance; census and community relations; and resident, employee, and guest relations. The Executive Director is responsible for effectively working as the leader of the team and, at the same time, operating as a team player. He/she is responsible for resolving conflicts through open communication.
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills.
Genuine concern for and ability to work with the elderly.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision to the elderly. Ability to train and supervise personnel.
Ability to lead and motivate people.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Ability to involve others in the decision-making process while maintaining responsibility for all decisions.
Ability to manage and prioritize a large, complex workload.
Ability to delegate authority and direct the work of others.
Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
Ability to make sound decisions when faced with ambiguous situations and to function effectively Nile Living Revised despite conflicting information.
Ability to perform basic accounting and bookkeeping transactions.
Ability to work with superiors and within the parameters of company policy and procedure. Knowledge of political and governmental structures and systems as they relate to the retirement industry.
Knowledge of and ability to conform to the applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Must have First Aid Training Certificate.
Must have abdominal thrust training.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a field related to the management of the community. Must meet state regulations for licensure. Experience: No less than 5 years in a managerial position providing human services and supervisory/ administrative capabilities that include fiscal management, marketing and public relations. At least three of these years must have been spent providing residential care to the elderly or equivalent experience as approved by the licensing agency.

Pay: $94, $120,258.00 per year
