Armed Security Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional Armed Security Guard to provide a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. The guard will serve as a visible presence to deter theft, violence, and other unwanted activities, while ensuring a professional and courteous atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high-visibility presence inside and around the store as a deterrent.
• Monitor customer and employee activity to prevent theft, disturbances, or unsafe behavior.
• Respond quickly to incidents and escalate when necessary.
• Work closely with store management to address security concerns.
• Document and report incidents in a clear, timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all company and legal security protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid armed security license and permits as required by state law.
• Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to stand/walk for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $18.50 per hour
