Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst or Functional SME with a strong background in translating business requirements into functional specifications and working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and providing end-to-end functional support for enterprise-level solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and gather requirements, define project scope, and document business processes.
Analyse current processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability.
Prepare detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirement documents (FRD), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Act as a liaison between the business users and the technical team to ensure functional requirements are well understood.
Support solution design and ensure alignment with business needs and system capabilities.
Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing), prepare test cases, and coordinate with users for validation.
Provide functional SME support throughout the project lifecycle, including post-implementation support.
Lead or participate in client-facing meetings, workshops, and demos
Required Professional Expertise:
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional SME in IT consulting or product companies.
Strong expertise in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Balsamiq, or similar.
Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with US clients or in a global delivery model.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with minimal supervision.
