Starting at $62,000 annually. Potential to earn up to $72,000+, depending on route, hours, and performance incentives.

Schedule:

• Local Route – Home Every Night!
• Monday–Friday
• Possible start as early as 4:00 AM; end as late as 6:00 PM (subject to delivery schedules)
• Weekend flexibility required

Overview:

Responsible for safely transporting reinforced concrete pipe, raw materials, and other products using heavy or tractor-trailer trucks. Operates trucks with a capacity of at least 80,000 pounds gross vehicle weight.

Essential Functions:

• Deliver primarily to construction sites
• Operate semi-truck in compliance with state and federal transportation laws
• Transport loads safely and on time, following all traffic and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo and materials
• Maintain invoices, bills of lading, and required paperwork; submit upon route completion
• Perform routine truck service checks (oil, water, fuel, air); report issues to fleet mechanics
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Keep electronic logs of activities
• Maintain cleanliness and good working order of truck and equipment
• Secure loads using chains, binders, and straps
• Perform other fleet department duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Class A CDL Driver experience: 2 years minimum
• Flatbed Truck driving: 1–2 years minimum
• Load and Unload experience: 2 years minimum
• Knowledge of and compliance with all DOT regulations and guidelines
• Clean driving record

Licenses/Certifications Required:

• Valid Class A CDL (appropriate for vehicle weight)
• Current Medical Examiner’s Card

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration
• Loud noise levels common

Physical Demands:

• Standing, walking, sitting for extended periods
• Use of hands/arms for operating equipment
• Climbing stairs and entering/exiting cab
• Talking and hearing
• Lifting/moving up to 75 lbs
• Securing loads with chains, binders, and straps
