As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and carefully packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping boxes or containers.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Operate RF scanners and warehouse management system (WMS) interfaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations diligently.
- Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic computer skills.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work efficiently.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of PPE.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and occasional overtime.
