We are looking for a motivated Distribution Center Associate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! This role is key to the efficient operation of our logistics hub, ensuring that goods are handled, stored, and distributed effectively. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your dedication to accuracy and efficiency will directly impact our ability to serve our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a vital sector of the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload shipments accurately.
- Verify incoming inventory against documentation.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory organization.
- Pick and pack orders with speed and accuracy.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch and load trucks.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety.
- Properly utilize all required PPE.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Awareness of and commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
