This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting regular audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision in a warehouse setting, this is an excellent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points.
- Identify and report damaged or expired goods.
- Implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with receiving, picking, and shipping departments to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the development and execution of inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and logistics protocols.
- Prepare inventory reports for management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role is required.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency with WMS software and other inventory tracking tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and data entry proficiency.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to perform lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE for logistics tasks.
