Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for organization? Our busy distribution center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse locations based on customer orders. This position is vital to our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive their correct items quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Select and pull merchandise from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use RF scanners to track picked items and update inventory levels.
- Verify product information against order lists to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to meet daily picking quotas.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures for logistics.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and checks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to wear designated PPE such as safety vests and gloves.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the logistics team.
