Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and certified Forklift Operators to join our busy warehouse operations in New York City, NY. This role is fundamental to our **logistics** process, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials. You will operate various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory within the facility, and transport goods to designated areas. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, performing pre-operation checks on equipment, and adhering to all **safety** regulations are crucial aspects of this job. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to **safety** and proper use of **PPE**. This demanding but rewarding position requires stamina and the ability to work in a dynamic urban warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach) safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trailers and containers.
  • Move palletized goods to and from storage areas.
  • Stack and retrieve inventory accurately.
  • Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to **safety** protocols.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
  • Strictly follow all company **safety** policies and procedures.
  • Wear required **PPE**, including **safety** shoes, vest, and gloves.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Ability to perform **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with warehouse **logistics** and inventory control.
  • Excellent **safety** record and awareness of potential hazards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and possess good communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Knowledge of proper **PPE** usage is essential.
