Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for organization? We have an exciting opening for an Inventory Clerk in our Boston, Massachusetts facility. As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This position involves meticulous tracking of stock levels, managing inventory records, and conducting regular cycle counts. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency of our logistics operations and ensure that we meet customer demands effectively. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to identify discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve any inventory variances.
- Receive, label, and store incoming inventory, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Process outgoing inventory movements and ensure correct documentation.
- Assist with the organization and layout of warehouse storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, and contribute to a culture of safety.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Proficiency in using WMS software and other inventory management tools.
- Excellent data entry skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of Lifting guidelines.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
