This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient movement of goods both within the facility and for outgoing shipments. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load, unload, move, stack, and store materials. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area is also a key responsibility. This position demands a strong commitment to Safety , with a thorough understanding of forklift operating procedures and hazard identification. You will conduct daily equipment inspections and ensure compliance with all company policies and OSHA standards. This role requires good physical stamina, as it involves regular Lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds and continuous operation of the forklift. Correct use of PPE , including a safety helmet, high-visibility vest, and steel-toed boots, is mandatory at all times. The successful candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a minimum of 1 year of experience, and a clean driving record. Experience with various types of forklifts, including pallet jacks, is preferred. Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are also important.
