We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring that goods are processed efficiently and accurately through our distribution center. You will be involved in various tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. A strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and teamwork is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming merchandise.
- Store and organize inventory within the distribution center according to established procedures.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed, ensuring order accuracy.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, in a safe manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
- Ensure the consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall logistics function.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory management concepts.
- Must be reliable and able to work assigned shifts, including potential overtime.
