We are seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our expanding operations in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from receipt to shipment. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a wide range of tasks, including receiving and inspecting incoming inventory, picking and packing orders, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining the overall organization and cleanliness of the facility. You will be an integral part of a team that works collaboratively to meet daily operational goals. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all associates are required to adhere to strict protocols, including the proper use of PPE, to ensure a secure work environment. This position involves regular Lifting and requires the ability to stand and move for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Organize and restock inventory within the distribution center.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch and load outbound trucks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and reconcile stock levels.
- Follow all company policies, including those related to Safety and PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Skilled in picking, packing, and inventory management.
- Physical capability for consistent Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and prolonged standing/walking.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must wear required PPE.
