We are looking for a diligent and energetic Order Picker to join our busy warehouse facility in Dallas, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly identified and accounted for. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to Safety and quality. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a scanner or pick list.
- Pack items securely and safely for shipment.
- Stage orders for outgoing Logistics.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Conducting checks on inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies immediately.
- Assist with Loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Perform tasks involving Lifting of products of various weights.
- Ensure all required PPE is worn correctly.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be able to perform manual Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with Safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory control.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Comfortable using required PPE.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles is beneficial.
