Join our vibrant warehouse team as an Order Picker in Sacramento, California! We are seeking dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders from warehouse shelves. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are picked correctly and promptly staged for shipment. You will be responsible for using scanning technology, navigating the warehouse effectively, and maintaining a high level of accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner instructions.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product damage.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall logistics flow.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Proper use of required PPE is mandatory.
- Contribute to achieving team performance goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following directions.
