Location: Bristol | Pay: £70ph Inside IR35 | Contract length: 6 months Do you have experience in Embedded Software Development using C/C++? Do you have experience in V&V activities in an Embedded Software environment? Do you want to work with an industry-leading company? If your answer is yes, this could be the role for you! As the Embedded Software Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company that is constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry. Due to the nature of the work, you will need to obtain UK SC clearance in this role. Responsibilities
Verification and validation activities on real-time systems application software Take requirements, develop them into robust test cases, prepare and execute tests, capture data, and deliver actionable feedback to project teams Practical problem solving, data acquisition expertise, and adaptability Skills & Experience
V&V activities in an embedded software environment Ability to turn requirements into structured test cases and procedures Experience working in a lab environment on an electro‑mechanical product running embedded software Good working knowledge of the complete software engineering lifecycle Scripting abilities Embedded software development experience using Ada and/or C/C++ Safety critical systems experience Knowledge of standards such as DefStan 00‑55, DO‑178C & DO‑330 Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems Model‑Driven Design experience Knowledge of test automation methods Knowledge of DOORS, Engineering Workflow Management (EWM), Rapita Suite, Rhapsody, LDRA Breakpoint analysis experience Experience of focused code reviews If this all sounds like something you would be interested in, simply apply and we can discuss the opportunity further! #Jobster
