We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to fuel our growth by connecting with future customers. You’ll research prospects, spark conversations, and qualify opportunities for our sales team. Working closely with Sales and Marketing, you’ll help build a strong, scalable pipeline. SMADE is a French startup based in Lyon (France). This role is based in London, with George who will be your direct Lead. You will work both from home and in a coworking space with George. More details on our solution and plans here: https://www.smade.io/
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You will discover the medical market, especially working with OEMs clients on their needs.
Proactively engage with prospective clients, identify and qualify sales opportunities, and generate interest in SMADE’s solution (inbound and outbound).
Meet prospects and customers to understand their needs, highlight the SMADE’s value and support product demos.
Articulate our value proposition in a clear, confident way, based on identified needs.
Develop, monitor and improve personalized email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach to effectively engage prospects and build a strong pipeline.
Take ownership of opportunities end-to-end, including negotiating and closing deals.
Partner with Sales & Marketing to strategize on lead quality and conversion, ensuring a seamless hand-off for qualified opportunities.
Continuously refine outreach techniques and adopt best practices to enhance prospecting success.
Maintain accurate records of activities in our CRM, manage lead and account data, and monitor progress against sales metrics.

Native English (you’ll sell worldwide, especially in the USA).

Nice-to-have:
Familiarity with B2B with strong interest in the tech environment and startups.
Familiarity in generating leads, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media platforms like LinkedIn for prospecting.
Proficiency in CRM software and experience with prospecting tools.
French speaking is an advantage.
OTHER:
Opportunity to travel: USA, Europe.
Work directly with the Sales Leadership team, George, based in London.
Work from home and in a co-working space with George in London (place to define).
Valid passport for international travel.
