Technical Sales Manager
to join our team in Scotland working in the Automotive/Aerospace and Power Sector. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities for the Scotland plant working closely with the Plant Manager to generate and secure long term revenue projects. About the Business Segment ENNOVI Scotland provides core capabilities in High-Speed Stamping, Reel to Reel Selective Plating, Reel to Reel Moulding, Insert Moulding and Automated Testing. The site delivers high-quality, reliable components through precision processes and advanced automation. Scotland is also home to ENNOVI’s Plating R&D centre, dedicated to developing plating technologies such as IndiCoat™. Main Responsibilities Identify new business opportunities, including new clients, partnerships, products and services. Lead technical sales activities for metal stamping, plating and moulding products, aligning customer requirements with our manufacturing capabilities. Maintain and develop relationships with current customers to generate new business opportunities. Support the preparation and deliver accurate quotations, tenders and project proposals whilst working with the internal business development team. Ensure the sales forecast and pipeline is consistently and accurately maintained. Track sales performance, pipeline progress, and project status, reporting key metrics directly to the Plant Manager. Support customers in product design optimization for manufacturability, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Liaise closely with engineering and production teams to ensure projects meet technical and commercial expectations. Work closely with supply chain and procurement to align material selection and sourcing strategies with customer’s needs. Represent the company at customer sites, trade shows, and technical meetings to strengthen the brand technical credibility. Monitor UK market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to support local business strategy. Report directly to the Plant Manager on sales performance, forecast and pipeline development. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in technical sales or business development, ideally within automotive or aerospace sector but not limited to. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to discuss complex technical concepts clearly. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. High level of organisation, attention to detail, and self-motivation. Competence in Microsoft Office, CRM software and AutoCAD. Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) or equivalent experience. Familiarity with manufacturing processes such high speed stamping, injection moulding and automation is desirable.
