The Role The
HR Analytics & Equity Plan Manager
is responsible for building and managing the administration, auditing, and lifecycle tracking of Fidelis Insurance Group employee equity program. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of our equity plans, including ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent employee experience. This role partners closely with other teams within the firm to manage all aspects of equity operations and support a fast-paced, growing organization.
In addition to equity plan administration, this role will have end-to-end responsibility for HR management information (MI), compensation analytics, and reward modelling. Acting as a key member of the HR team, the role will own the group compensation sheet, develop and maintain detailed compensation models, and provide high-quality analysis and insight to support reward decision-making. The role will also liaise with external reward and benchmarking providers and provide support and backup across payroll activities. This is a highly analytical role requiring exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and advanced Excel and modelling capability.
Key Accountabilities
Administer and manage the full lifecycle of equity compensation plans, including the preparation, review, and execution of grant agreements, exercise documents, and award modifications
Manage and maintain accurate and timely equity data within our equity management platform
Track vesting milestones, grant approvals, and reporting deadlines related to equity awards
Partner with finance, legal, tax, payroll, and human resources to ensure timely and compliant processing of equity transactions, including tax withholding and reporting
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding equity compensation plans by providing timely, high-quality customer service and education on equity-related matters
Generate regular reports on stock plan activity, grants, exercises, vesting, and forfeitures for finance and legal teams
Prepare and reconcile monthly and quarterly equity reports, including share activity, expense accruals, and outstanding balances
Assist in maintaining accurate records of equity authorizations, share pools, and plan usage for internal and board reporting
Assist with the valuation process for stock options
Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and securities regulations across all jurisdictions where equity is granted
Support process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy of equity administration
Own and maintain the group compensation sheet, ensuring accuracy, version control, and auditability across base salary, bonus, equity, and total reward
Build, own, and maintain detailed compensation and reward models, including scenario analysis to support annual salary reviews, bonus cycles, equity planning, and ad hoc decision-making
Provide clear analytical insight from compensation and reward data to support senior HR and leadership decision-making
Develop and own HR management information (MI), ensuring accurate, consistent reporting
Produce regular and ad hoc HR MI and analytics for the Group CHRO, Executive leadership, and Board
Liaise with external reward and benchmarking partners, managing data submissions, reviewing benchmark outputs, and incorporating market data into compensation analysis and modelling
Ensure HR, reward, and compensation data is well-controlled, confidential, and audit-ready, supported by robust documentation
Provide support and backup for payroll processing, including reconciliation of equity-related events, bonuses, and other variable compensation
Perform other duties as assigned such as backup for payroll for Bermuda, London and Dublin offices.
Skills & Experience • Undergraduate Degree preferably with a concentration in Business, Finance, or Accounting required • Minimum of 5 years of experience in stock plan administration or equity compensation required • Experience working for a public company preferred • Strong understanding of stock-based compensation schemes and related accounting concepts • Hands-on experience with equity management platforms required • Exceptional level of analytical and reconciliation skills, with the ability to work accurately with complex and sensitive datasets • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, modelling, scenario analysis, and data validation • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail • Strong level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and executive information • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, tax, payroll, and human resources teams • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Outstanding problem-solving and time management skills • Self-motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented • Adaptable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Can work independently and within a team; solution-oriented with a collaborative approach
