Landscape Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of outdoor projects. This role involves working on residential and commercial properties, assisting with landscape installation, maintenance, and enhancement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment to create beautiful and functional landscapes.

Duties

• Assist with landscape installation including planting, sod laying, and hardscape construction
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree care, and hedge trimming
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and snow plows safely and effectively
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Conduct general maintenance tasks including debris removal, soil preparation, and mulch spreading
• Support team members in executing projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing during winter months
• Contribute to the overall aesthetic and health of landscapes through horticultural practices

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating landscaping equipment and power tools is advantageous
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including tree care, gardening, and hardscape installation is a plus
• Experience with construction or excavation equipment such as excavators can be beneficial
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks is essential
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to landscaping tools and machinery is important for maintaining a safe work environment

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $150.00 per day
