Warehouse Automation Engineer

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000

A market-leading organization is seeking an Industrial Engineer to play a key role in designing and delivering next-generation automation solutions for cutting-edge distribution centers.

In this role, you will translate operational needs into scalable, high-performance automation designs, working across advanced robotics, material handling, and intelligent warehouse technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Design and deliver integrated warehouse automation solutions incorporating robotics, AGVs, AMRs, ASRS, and advanced conveyor systems for large-scale distribution center projects.
  • Analyze operational requirements to develop scalable strategies that optimize workflow, space utilization, and throughput.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including operations, IT, and external technology providers—to define system specifications, solution architecture, and project timelines.
  • Develop CAD layouts, process simulations, and technical documentation to support proposals and execution plans.
  • Support solution implementation and commissioning, ensuring alignment with project objectives, safety standards, and budget targets.
  • Evaluate emerging automation technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in design engineering within automated warehousing, logistics, or supply chain environments.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong hands-on experience with warehouse automation technologies, including robotics, AGVs, AMRs, ASRS, conveyors, and WMS platforms.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent, along with simulation and modeling software.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex automation projects from concept through operational deployment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
