POSITION PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Security Officer secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points. The Security Officer investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior and controls traffic by directing drivers. The Security Officer completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. The Security Officer helps with assisting Valet during valet off time and assists with guests' needs. (example: opening locked safe, bell cart service, etc.)

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

EXPERIENCE: Experience in hotels preferred, customer service required

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or its equivalent

• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing business demands and guest needs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, AM, PM
• Possess a gracious, friendly and fun demeanor

COMPENSATION:

Starting wage is $ $23.00 per hour
