Bartender

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bartender to become an esteemed member of our team. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the essential responsibility of delivering exceptional customer service while creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our valued guests. Compensation will be determined based on experience, with 100% of tips allocated to the bartenders.

• Restaurant is open 7 days a week, will be required to be in from 4:00p-11:00 at a minimum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extend a warm greeting to customers and diligently take their drink orders.

• Skillfully prepare and serve a diverse array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and individual customer preferences.

• Provide thoughtful recommendations on drink selections tailored to customer tastes and menu offerings, thereby enhancing their overall experience.

• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within the bar area, ensuring a welcoming environment.

• Monitor patrons' alcohol consumption and consistently ensure the responsible service of alcoholic beverages, in compliance with relevant regulations.

• Efficiently process customer payments utilizing a cash register or Point of Sale (POS) system with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Engage patrons in friendly conversation, cultivating a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages return visits.

• Assist with food handling and preparation as necessary, demonstrating versatility and teamwork.

• Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to guarantee prompt delivery of food orders to guests, thereby enhancing their dining experience.

• Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, striving to resolve issues amicably.

• Prepare the bar area prior to the commencement of each shift, ensuring readiness for service.

• Perform cleaning duties, including organizing bar supplies, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the restaurant to maintain a pristine environment.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in retail mathematics, ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing.

• Effective time management skills, enabling the prioritization of tasks within a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

• Competence in basic mathematical calculations for measuring ingredients and determining drink pricing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of food service regulations and safety standards to uphold best practices.

• Prior experience in catering or event bartending is considered an asset.

• Familiarity with brewing techniques and the preparation of craft cocktails will be advantageous.

• Proficiency in operating a cash register or POS system, ensuring seamless transaction processing.
