Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring seating arrangements accommodate their needs and preferences
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold high standards of hospitality
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Experience

• Previous host or hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Experience in hotel or guest services can be advantageous but is not required
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude
• Knowledge of hospitality standards including phone etiquette, guest relations, and serving practices

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $27.86 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
