Specialized Communication Services, LLC provides premier aerial construction services throughout the state of Utah. From our corporate office in St. George, we serve all regions, with much of the work concentrated in Central and Southern Utah. This position requires travel to various job sites within the state.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking to hire Laborers to join our team. Under general supervision, this entry level position assists in performing tasks associated with the Utility Construction, maintenance, and repair projects.

Physical demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; the employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and frequently.

Work environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and may be subject to adverse conditions such as high temperatures, high wind, extreme cold, rain, sleet, and snow. The outside work environment will vary throughout the workday including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings and/or rural settings. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud to moderate.

Responsibilities:

· Must be able to follow simple instructions

· Must dig trenches manually or mechanically

· Should be able to safely identify utilities in the trench/bore path.

· Wil restore and landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite

· Performs site clean-up

· Responsible for clean vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment

· Willing to demonstrate job skill, procedures and techniques to new hires

· Must shall follow all safety rules at all times.

· Expected to attend all safety meetings and training.

· Shall use all prescribed safety equipment that is required to safely do the job at hand.

· This position may require overtime.

Qualifications:

• Standard Driver's License, CDL Preferred
• Must have the ability to operate manual and mechanical equipment as necessary
