The Data Sharing, Integration and Management Services Department is responsible for setting up and operationalizing foundations and helping sectors implement solutions to use and govern their data in a simple and secure manner. These are critical activities that enable Desjardins to make business decisions supported by quality data. The team in charge of the application for exchanging Desjardins data (AEDM) with IBM DataStage is looking for an administrator to join its platform management squad in a dynamic environment using Agile/Scrum/Kanban methods. The role involves contributing to the maintenance and evolution of the service, and supporting operations. On this team, you'll be involved in designing and implementing new platform features to meet Desjardins Group's needs. You'll also be responsible for preparing and supporting sectors when they're added to the platform and start using it, ensuring that all prerequisites are in place and answering their questions. You'll ensure the platform's operational excellence by adapting the configuration, applying updates and correcting security issues and anomalies. You'll also be responsible for supporting the platform in case of incidents More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Help design and develop new features.

  • Configure, administer and maintain IBM DataStage and AEDM application platforms.

  • Make sure projects are created and participate in the rollout plan as needed.

  • Participate in release and platform migration tests.

  • Ensure compliance with security and access measures.

  • Develop detailed documentation of problems and solutions.

  • Support development teams by investigating performance issues and problems in using the platform.

  • Ensure production platforms are maintained.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Experience with ETL data transfer tools such as DataStage

  • Experience with the Unix/Linux environment

  • Experience with databases

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Knowledge of DevOps approach

  • Knowledge of AutoSys (WAAE) and Control-M schedulers

  • Available 24/7 as an on-call advisor with pay
