Role and Responsibilities

The role will include a wide range of responsibilities on M&A and financing transactions, among other initiatives, including:

• Assisting in the execution of transactions, with responsibilities increasing over time
• Preparing client presentations including compiling / analyzing data and conducting research
• Preparing financial models and valuation analysis
• Assisting in drafting confidential information memorandums and other deal related marketing materials
• Researching and communicating with potential acquirers
• Coordinating transaction due diligence

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in professional services with a financial analysis focus (e.g. audit, accounting, M&A advisory).
  Prior M&A advisory experience is not a requirement, but definitely an asset.
• Undergraduate business degree required
  -

Major in Finance or Accounting preferred, with strong record of academic achievement
- CPA, CFA or CBV preferred
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting, with experience in financial modeling and analysis (i.e. income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Energetic, inquisitive self-starter with ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Compensation

Salary of $90,000, plus an annual bonus
