Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across various projects. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The handyman will ensure that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards, supporting both residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute projects accurately.
  • Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, rebar, and other building materials.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively.
  • Conduct concrete forming and masonry work as needed for various construction projects.
  • Assist with restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing structures.
  • Measure materials and estimate project requirements using construction estimating skills.
  • Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to support project completion.
  • Follow safety protocols including caulking, rebar installation, siding installation, and roofing procedures.
  • Assemble furniture or equipment as required for different projects.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use.

Qualifications

  • Proven maintenance person experience with a broad skill set across construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and roofing.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics accurately.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment.
  • Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, tile laying, flooring installation, siding installation, and cabinet installation is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, caulking, electrical wiring, plumbing systems, and roofing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently on-site.
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments.

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
