Compliance Administrator – Remote
Pay: From $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
Status: Full-Time | Monday – Friday
Work Location: Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Administrator to manage and oversee adherence to all federal, state, and company regulations related to our healthcare services and remote workforce. This critical remote position is responsible for minimizing risk, maintaining required documentation, administering staff credentials, and ensuring all operations adhere to high standards of ethical and legal compliance.
What You'll Do
- Regulatory Monitoring & Reporting: Track, analyze, and disseminate changes in healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, state licensing rules, labor laws) that impact company operations and caregiver services.
- Policy Administration: Maintain and update company policy and procedure manuals. Ensure all employees are trained on and adhere to current compliance standards, including mandatory reporting protocols.
- Credential & Licensing Management: Administer the credentialing and licensing process for all caregivers. Verify, track expiration dates, and ensure the timely renewal of certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, professional licenses) to maintain compliance readiness.
- Audits & Documentation: Lead internal audits of client and employee files to ensure complete and accurate documentation. Prepare and organize records for external regulatory reviews or investigations.
- Training & Education: Develop and conduct mandatory compliance training sessions for new hires and annual refreshers for existing staff on topics such as HIPAA, Anti-Fraud, and Ethics.
- Incident Investigation: Act as the initial point of contact for reported compliance concerns or potential breaches. Assist in the investigation and documentation of incidents, escalating findings to management as required.
What We're Looking For
- Regulatory Expertise: Proven knowledge of HIPAA, state/federal labor laws, and healthcare credentialing processes. Experience in a regulated industry is highly preferred.
- Exceptional Detail Orientation: Paramount focus on accuracy and the ability to manage complex, highly sensitive documentation with zero error.
- Integrity and Judgment: High level of professional integrity and sound judgment when dealing with confidential information and sensitive compliance issues.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for writing formal policies, conducting training, and interacting with regulatory bodies.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs role, preferably within a healthcare or remote service setting.
Schedule & Compensation
- Status: Full-time
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Weekend Requirement: None.
- Compensation: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
