Child Care Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in a nurturing environment. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational space for children of various ages, ensuring their well-being and fostering their growth. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children and possess the skills necessary to provide high-quality care.

Duties

• Supervise and monitor children during play, learning activities, and mealtime to ensure safety at all times
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene practices
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when necessary
• Foster positive relationships with children to encourage confidence, independence, and social skills

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or similar environments is preferred
• Experience with caregiving responsibilities including early childhood education techniques is highly desirable
• Familiarity with classroom management and curriculum planning is a plus
• Background working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to teach basic skills and support early childhood development through engaging activities
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$23.34 per hour
