Customer Service Representative
Location: Burnaby, BC
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent (In-person)
About the Role
We're looking for two Customer Service Representatives to join our team Customer Service Representatives are our friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for Spud customers. In this role, you'll provide support across phone, email, and chat, helping customers with questions, troubleshooting, and creating a positive experience with every interaction.
The open shifts we are hiring for are:
- Sunday- Thursday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm and
- Sunday- Thursday 9:30 am- 6:00 pm

What You'll Do
- Answer customer phone calls, emails, and chats about a variety of different topics, including how spud works, technical issues, account requests and product information.
- Provide an amazing level of care and service in every customer interaction, going above and beyond.
- Communicate feedback to the various internal teams concerning what our customers are saying and how we can improve our service.
- Check daily reports and ensure that any issues are dealt with for the upcoming day, including address and payment information, product shorts or substitutions, and ensuring every box of food going out is complete.
- Participate in daily huddles, to be able to communicate, identify issues and celebrate successes.
- Perform additional duties as required.
What You Bring
- Previous experience providing customer service is required. Experience providing customer service through phone and email is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a high level of service awareness, with a customer-first attitude.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, including active listening.
- A positive attitude and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with call centre software is an asset.
- Typing speed of minimum 45 wpm.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and work as a team to complete other tasks, as required.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle a fast-paced work environment, with awareness of urgency and prioritization.
