Purchasing Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Purchasing Manager to join our Team in Regina, SK.

As the Purchasing Manager, you will develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies. You will identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contract and manage vendor relationships. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements. You will monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies, including conducting market research to identify new suppliers, products and pricing trends. You will analyze data to identity cost-saving opportunities and optimize the supply chain. Oversee the procurement process, including purchase order creation, approval and tracking, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field. Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management and supply chain principles. Must be proficient in using purchasing systems and software, excellent negotiation and communication skills. Must possess the ability to analyze data, make informed decisions and be detail orientated with strong organizational skills.
