Production Technician, Packaging

Purileaf is a cannabis company located in Niagara Falls, Canada, licensed for standard processing under Canada's federal Cannabis Act and its Regulations ). Purileaf core business operations include contract processing and co-packing for other licensed producers ("LPs"), as well as the manufacture of premium cannabis oil and extract-based products for commercialization across Canada.

We are seeking a reliable responsible individual to assist with all cannabis primary and secondary packaging activities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with production duties including primary packaging, secondary packaging, and other pre- and post- processing steps as required

• Help maintain and service all production equipment according to operating procedures

• Assist in maintaining and tracking inventory of starting materials, intermediate and final products

• Ensure that all cannabis extract products comply with written specifications

• Help maintain high levels of cleanliness in all areas of the workplace

• Other production floor and office duties as directed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Able to work in a team environment, but work independently when required

• Great communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Able to carry out repetitive tasks at a high level of quality

• Willing to complete tasks outside job description as required

• Capable of standing the majority of the day

• Excellent (English) verbal and communication skills

• Must be able to successfully complete background/reference checks

Job Type: 6 months contract

Experience: Processing lab or food industry: 2 years (co-op and summer experience) acceptable; experience with cannabis not required, but considered an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $35,446.32-$43,867.72 per year
