Genco Genco UK Group Limited is a reliable contractor who provides Reactive planned and preventative Maintenance Services within the retail sector. We are a fast-paced Company and rapidly growing and expanding our area coverage. We are currently seeking a new IT Systems Manager to join our Company.
*Summary *
As an IT and Systems Manager you will be accountable for the smooth running of the computer systems including the inhouse operating system, within the limits of requirements, specifications and costs. You will work and liaise alongside our IT support Company and Consultant ensuring smooth operation and ensuring everything is running efficiently on a day-to-day basis. You will be the IT analyst and drive new initiatives and seek new technologies to help with the digitalisation of the Company.
*The main list of duties are as below (this list is not exhaustive):*
* Deal with and identify all daily IT and Telecommunication issues for all staff internal and external and including the server room
* Maintaining accurate IT asset logs including S/Ns, devices, users and other relevant information
* Upgrading PCs when necessary, typically memory upgrades
* Monitoring and updating password sheet for all 365, jobflow, tablets and laptops
* Assisting with furniture ordering and management, ensuring positioning is in line with IT needs (floorboxes)
* Managing air conditioning where possible, adjusting schedules, setting limits and un-used units to save costs
* Purchasing new licences for new users and Assigning Licences to new users
* Monitoring Distribution lists keeping information current
* Signature Blocks – amending and issuing new ones ensuring the correct criteria is used
* Monitoring SPAM e-mails
* Maintaining server Room, including CCTV, Aircon, Phone Switches, Internet Cables, Firewall etc.
* Download CCTV as and when required
* Ensure Company is Secure and obtain and maintain Cyber Essentials Accreditation
* Monitoring and driving JobFlow Updates
* Set up of all new starters across all IT systems:
1. JobFlow Remote/Internal access
2. Setting up with Microsoft Account and getting correct access
3. Ordering Office Equipment for Office Staff, including Computers and Phones
4. Tablet/mobile phone set up - Making a new Google profile – Set up with e-mails in outlook app / Ringo / I auditor / pay by phone / One Drive / Speak up app / Pronett / Verisae
5. Gamma/Horizon Desktop phone set up
6. Computer set up
* Maintaining phone system (Adding Christmas message to answer phone)
* Setting tasks for staff to test their knowledge and distributing training when necessary
* Prepare and record Training and ‘How to Guide’ Videos for staff to use Company Apps and systems
* Maintain all Meeting and Training room Equipment
* Help to set up and launch new Website - monitoring and updating
* Liaising with IT provider and ensuring SLA’S are met (including Quarterly Meetings with IT supplier and consultant)
* Prepare IT Tenders and complete Insurance Documents
* Sim card management, making sure users have the correct plans and requesting changes / bolt ons when necessary
* Leading projects focused on best practices and compliance EG backup internet line, sharepoint migration and archiving etc.
* Price Compare IT providers, Mobile Phone providers, Equipment providers to ensure competitive and to keep costs to a minimum
* Look into E-Commerce Systems to improve Commercials
* Assist with AI implementation into the Business – Part of the new appointed AI Committee
* Ordering new phone and IT hardware, setup of hardware and moving users hardware to new positions

*Essentials*
* Proven Experience in 1st-3rd Line IT Support in a small or mid-sized organisation
* Excellent knowledge and working experience as an IT Manager or relevant Experience
* Experience in managing Microsoft SharePoint
* Excellent knowledge of technical Management and of Computer hardware/software systems
* Exposure to AI enabled Tools and how they will be applied pragmatically across the business highly desirable but not essential.
* Ability to manage Personnel and comfortable being the primary on-site IT contact for all staff
* Good organisational skills
* Able to work under pressure

Salary wage bracket - £32,500 - £40,000 – Depending on experience and knowledge
