Your main duties will involve locating specific items within the warehouse, packing them carefully for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. This role is integral to our logistics chain, guaranteeing that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order documentation or scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damages before packing.
- Pack products securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Affix accurate shipping labels and prepare orders for carrier collection.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and warehouse area.
- Comply with all company safety standards and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet daily order fulfillment productivity targets.
- Conduct quality control checks on packaged items.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting and replenishment.
- Ability to perform regular lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and perform frequent lifting.
- Dedication to workplace safety practices.
